About us
Who We Are
Itihad is a Muslim nonprofit rooted in Qur’anic values and the Sunnah of the Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him). We assist Muslim families by paying off the debts of their
deceased loved ones before or shortly after burial. When debt exceeds this amount, we work
directly with creditors to negotiate forgiveness.
